Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Jabber
We use Cisco Jabber across our whole organization for communication purposes. The capabilities it has with Unified Communications allows for softphones and connectivity between a users' PC and their desk phone. This has greatly helped us with handling communication with remote employees.
- Unified Communications which unites instant messaging, softphone and hard phone connections.
- Active Directory integration for user management and account creation.
- Exchange support to have voicemails sent to a users email account.
- iOS Jabber app functions exceptionally well and allows you to communicate on the go.
- Jabber locally caches a employees name to a their phone extension. This becomes an issue when reassigning an extension to a new employee, when you go to message the new employee you'll still see the old employee's name. The only resolution we've found is to clear the Jabber cache on affected user's PC.
- Increases employee efficiency by allowing multiple employees to collaborate within group chats.
- Improves IT troubleshooting by allowing users to screenshot or screen share their issue with IT.
- Allows users to be in touch regardless of what platform they are working on.
- IBM Lotus Notes
No other product allows for integration with the Cisco VOIP system like Jabber does. Jabber has a super fast and simple installation package and a very easy to use UI within the software itself. Users have a minimal learning curve when they begin using Cisco Jabber for the first time.
