Overall Satisfaction with Jamf Pro

Jamf pro is used across our entire organization. This is a best MDM tool for Apple devices. Jamf is the leader in this area and especially with Intune integration even though the integration piece has some short falls. This dosent mean as the product is bad. Comparing with similar competitors Jamf are still the Market leaders and their product is doing nice. It will be great if they can support custom requirements in a better and timely manner.
  • Deployments
  • Device Enrollments
  • Asset management
  • Intune integration
  • Cloud distribution point
  • Modern Reporting
  • Value for money for Asset and Inventory management
  • Value for money in provisioning and application deployments
  • Not that great with Intune integration and for Jamf connect with PAM modules
  • Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Microsoft Intune + SCCM)
Intune is not yet matured to be at par with Jamf. Considering the investment and focus microsoft is making on apple device management it will be challenging for Jamf in near future. As of now Jamf is having many pros and few cons and indeed the market leaders with proven and strong customer base. I am sure Jamf will continue to be the market leaders if they can concentrate well on their minimal shortfalls.

Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Microsoft Intune + SCCM), MS SharePoint, Azure App Service
Jamf is best suited in areas if you are going with the default capabilities of the product. If you have a requirement to used it in a custom mode there you will have some challenges. This dosent mean as the product is not capable but there is a gap in getting this into the product cycle.
