Overall Satisfaction with Jira Work Management

Robust, intuitive and constantly developing. We have thoroughly enjoyed working with Jira Work Management, as our one source of truth for project management. It has significantly made it easier to get a better overview, and set prioritizations right for critical projects. If you are also integrated to the overall Atlassian ecosystem, this is a no brainer to have.

Cons

  • You do need to ensure you have an overall strategy for Atlassian, otherwise you risk just making this a place to document things with no proper strategy
  • Significant increase in delivery time
  • Increase in predictable forecasting
  • Increased internal satisfation
As we are Atlassian users overall, this entire ecosystem is truly built from a 360 perspective. It becomes the one source of truth, and we can easily see where we are in our projects and where to emphasize focus in the upcoming period. There are some areas for minor improvements, but they are more a matter of preference rather than business necessity
Whereas all competing products are great and you may do more or less the same type of tasks, Atlassian has the edge when it comes to cross-team collaboration, in particular in scenarios where escalations must also involve developers or the product teams. All in all, all are great solutions, Atlassian is just very well thought of in the Atlassian ecosystem.

Really is very robust, in particular coupled with the overall Atlassian Ecosystem. Moreover, We really like how you can cater it to suit your own needs, whether you like to work in tables or kanban views. Labelling is also a great solution. I would have wished more intuitive red flags directly from the system in case it detects that we might be going overboard with certain things, thus making it complicated.
