Overall Satisfaction with Jira Work Management
Our marketing team has used Jira Work Management to project manage the creation of deliverables for marketing campaigns. The tool is used among teams in one business unit to organize work, repeat regular tasks, and communicate about ongoing projects.

- Commenting and collaboration
Cons
- Task updates are manual
- Lacking automation and AI-driven features
- Limited flexibility in an administrator-led instance
- For our marketing team, Jira Work Management caused us to lose valuable work time due to manual updates that could have been automated.
- Due to lack of creative review tools within Jira Work Management, our team had to pursue other tools that do not integrate with Jira Work Management, thus creating additional OpEx.
Personally I would not choose Jira Work Management for a marketing team. However, the marketing team was enveloped into the Jira Work Management instance due to use by more technical teams.
