Overall Satisfaction with Jive Team Collaboration

We used it as a community platform for our employees, customers and partners.
  • Serves as a basis for customers to interact with our employees
  • Creates a social network that conveys the companies hierarchy
  • Upgrading to new jive versions took weeks and was completely and utterly a pain
  • Very limited customization options
  • Clunky and slow
  • Search system was terribly ineffective
  • Employees and partners constantly complained of how slow and clunky it was
  • It offered plenty of ways to interact, but most clients and employees were not willing to take the time to research and learn all the widgets and gadgets
Drupal would be much better suited. They have fast version upgrades and immediate customer support. Jive lacked in all those areas
Terrible customer support; bad experience using the product as a whole.
I left my job because of its continued use and because of the lack of improvements over three version upgrades over a year.
