Use Cases and Deployment Scope

JotForm is used by my department as a registration form for one of the events that we currently organize for the community. Instead of other survey platforms, we are using JotForm because of its ability to allow appointment booking and triggering of reminder emails prior to our event, unlike other survey platforms.

Pros and Cons

A lot more features that other survey platforms.
Fuss-free appointment scheduling feature.
Triggering of reminder emails.

Paid subscriptions are too expensive.
Encrypted data files cannot be downloaded as excel file.
Free version allows limited survey responses.

Alternatives Considered

I selected JotForm because of the appointment booking feature that JotForm provides. Also, there are many different widgets that can be added to the survey form as well, which makes it unique. JotForm allows plenty of customization for the users as compared to the other survey platforms (e.g. design, colors, widgets, features).

Usability

JotForm does have a lot of features but that said, there are its limitations as well for the free version. It does serve its purpose though so it's all good. The good part is that I was able to gain more submissions from inviting other colleagues to the platform so I guess that solves my issue.

It's not too bad.

Likelihood to Recommend

JotForm (free version) is well suited for surveys that are used for small-scale events or purposes since the free version does not allow us to receive many survey responses. It does serve its purpose however, for large-scale events or purposes, we will need to get our friends and colleagues to create JotForm accounts to increase the number of submissions.
