Overall Satisfaction with Keepit
We are using Keepit as our solution for an external backup of our M365 Cloud environment. The use-case is the full backup of everything related to content in M365. It addresses the problem of Microsoft not keeping a real long-term backup of the content and provides easy restore capabilities.
Pros

Cons
- Further expansion of range of products that can be backed up
- Prevention of loss of information and therefore reduced risk of legal costs due to information loss
- Fast restore times means less work has to be done by employees if something is lost to recover it manually if there is no backup
We are using keepit only for a few months now but we already had several cases where important documents have accidentally been deleted. Some of those would not have been restorable with the native snapshots of our backed-up cloud solution, which would have resulted in the loss of many years of information for some users without keepit.
The ease of use means that we don't need to train our helpdesk administrators as much as a complicated service would need. This reduces time spent in training and also reduces errors in the day-to-day handling of the platform.
