Overall Satisfaction with Kissmetrics
Kissmetrics is embedded in the app by the engineering team but the data it produces is used by everyone in the company. We track events and important statistics to drive our product development. The engineering team is responsible for adding the metrics and managing the implementation but the reports are available to everyone.
- Kissmetrics is great at tracking events. If there is a specific event your users do that would help drive business decisions this is the tool for that.
- Reporting is also incredibly easy. You can funnel users through a report and discover where behavior or use drops off of a workflow.
- It's incredibly easy to implement. With just a few lines of code you can start tracking your own custom events.
- Reporting is powerful but it could use a little work on making it easier for people outside the product department.
- Better user experience as we redesign features that aren't being used or show a drop off in use
