Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4
I really like the dynamic groups that can be created in KnowBe4. For example I've created a group that populates with users that have failed phishing tests 3 times. I then assign this group to one of the larger training modules. Once the training is completed the user is then removed from the group.
We are currently using KnowBe4 to evaluate our users' cybersecurity knowledge by phishing the staff on a frequent but unpredictable basis. We then use the data to determine the need for training. KnowBe4 allows us to automatically target users who need training with appropriate modules.
- KnowBe4 automatically imports our users and groups from Active Directory allowing us to target evaluations and training by group.
- KnowBe4 adds new training modules regularly addressing the current threat landscape.
- KnowBe4 has a very proactive success management approach. I hear from our rep regularly who helps with deployments and processes.
- The tiered access seems to be arbitrary as to what is and isn't available at each price point. I would like to see fewer tiers.
- It seems that IT professionals know who Kevin Mitnik but end users do not. IT professionals are very opinionated towards Mitnik.
- Our vulnerability percentage has decreased drastically from over 25% to on average 4% - 6%
- Cofense PhishMe and Proofpoint Security Awareness Training (formerly Wombat Security)
We looked at PhishMe and Wombat in addition to KnowBe4. We found that the feature set and price point and user support made KB4 the clear winner in our process. I can't say enough about how the communication with KnowBe4 really helps to keep the training on point and timely.

KnowBe4 updates and adds training modules often. I do find that sometimes the training modules I would like to use are not available at my subscription level though most modules are available at our platinum level.
I really like the phish prone report by group. This allows me to target groups that are more phish prone. The highest groups are tested more often and also targeted for awareness and educational materials. As these groups become better educated I'm able to see the impact and move my attentions to other groups.
