Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training
We have just migrated to Active Directory Integration/Federation. This has significantly improved end-user management, as we no longer have to worry about manually uploading accounts to KnowBe4 or removing accounts for offboarded employees. This, of course, significantly reduces our workload but also ensures enhanced security by being able to better manage credentials.
The InfoSec team uses KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training to meet compliance requirements (PCI-DSS and ISO 27001), as well as to educate our employees on sound security practices. The goal is to ensure they are able to identify and defend themselves and incorporate resources against cyber attacks as we consider our employees our first and last line of defense against intrusions.
- Easy, intuitive
- Automated: Configure a campaign, set the target audience, and the system does the rest.
- Tracking responses.
- Report and analyzing results.
- Allow more customization of content.
- Allow more personalization and branding.
- We have seen a significant reduction in the number of successful phishing attacks.
- Our risk scores continues to decline as a result of the ongoing phishing campaigns.
- Heightened awareness on the part of the staff where some now even research phishing emails themselves and have identified the KnowBe4 campaigns.
We previously used homegrown security awareness training. This was a manual, labor-intensive effort, with a huge ongoing investment in time and resources. With KnowBe4, the setup and administering of awareness initiatives are fast, efficient, and effective.

It has reduced the impact on my InfoSec team; they can now spend less time and effort in preparing and managing end-user awareness training and focus on other information security objectives. Additionally, there is more user engagement as the content provided by KnowBe4 is relevant, current, professionally done, and interesting.
Metrics that are critical for us include trends over time for a reduction in risk scores. We also rely heavily on tracking users who are "repeat" offenders and the completion of the automated remediation training also gives us a good insight into continual improvement.
