Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training

We build campaigns by quarter. Sent clickers (and other results) to groups that are monitored for follow up training and or review (by Management). We have refined the operation of user management a couple of times but feel it has served us well.
We utilize the platform across the entire footprint of our users. The intent is to provide awareness and learning for the various threats that our users may come into contact with and permit them to be more cognizant of the content they are presented. We anticipate that this assists with minimizing the threat footprint of malicious attempts to access data or for financial gain.
  • Easy to understand examples are utilized.
  • Content segments can be short initially with more lengthy training sessions provided for those that need additional guidance.
  • We are able to monitor results of campaigns to use with elevated training needs for users.
  • Campaign results and graphical charts permit leadership a convenient and visual reference of progress or current state of training progress.
  • Initially, we felt the portfolio of training modules was limited, but have seen this improved.
  • Difficulty in getting some users to accept training (not entirely a KB4 issue), requires management to support the training initiatives.
  • Management interface could always be improved, but it is functional and full-featured.
  • The most prominent benefit shows in the results of our risk-based percentage (decreased since implementation).
  • It may be difficult for some to define a relative ROI, although you would only need to have one incident to realize the costs of not having users properly trained (to reduce the change of an incident).
KB4 has been our first and only training solution; however, I speak a lot with peers and most are KB4 users. Those that use an alternative have shared some items that I feel are interesting and in some cases, we have seen these elements introduced with the KB4 platform.
I have not personally needed to use support much, but in the early days of setup and a rash of questions presented to ensure we had things setup as we wanted, the support was stellar. Responsive, helpful, insightful and knowledgeable. All of the important traits.

I'm certain one could argue that there is never enough, but even when new modules are introduced, they are reviewed for the benefit to our team, and often, the new content is welcomed.
I feel we use everything available to us in one capacity or another. So, it's difficult to identify what is most important. If I had to select just one, I guess I would choose the risk assessment ratings.
For all of our environment, I feel it is a good solution. I am not completely familiar with all competitors, but with some peers, I have seen the visual presentations of some video learning content to be more enticing than some of the video content available. Also, there are select areas in which our environment is not fully represented in the 'messages' communicated. That is difficult to expect each company would have an ideal video available, but something to strive toward.
