Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training
We use KnowBe4 to keep ourselves, and the employees, up to date on security training. Every employee does an annual training consisting of about six modules. There are also simulated phishing emails that are sent out randomly to employees at any given time. If employees have paid attention to the training, they can click the phish alert button to report the email. If they do click on a link in the phishing email, they have to take a short training afterward.
- Phish emails.
- Easy to understand training for all levels.
- Training done in short format so users don't get frustrated.
- Make it known that users need to use a current browser for training.
- Check the email address when sending phish tests (sometimes they say the company name).
- Users are more cautious about clicking emails.
- Users report more emails that look suspicious.
- Users are warier of emails that come from within the organization when it is from someone they don't know.
In my time here, I am not aware of any other security awareness training programs that have been used. I know we have looked at a few different options, but I cannot remember their names as they did not make much of an impact. KnowBe4 covers all of the bases that we need and does so with relative ease.
