Overall Satisfaction with Kronos Workforce Ready

They seem to be fairly responsive to needs, but only via email. A call does result from the email initiation but cannot lead the process.
We use it for our HRIS, across the organization for all employees. Included in it is our employee records, benefits, information distribution, time sheets, paid time off, etc. It replaced three other systems that did not talk to each other, which resolved multiple mini-errors in data entry, and subsequently reduced the amount of time necessary for new hires.
  • It is comprehensive in that it has all the pieces necessary for a full and complete HRIS system.
  • The pricing is right for a small non-profit.
  • The dashboard is easy to read and understand without lots of training.
  • There is little or no training available outside of the online help. This can be hard for a train-the-trainer like myself.
  • There have been some glitches in the setup - not sure if we did that or if it was a system problem.
  • The performance appraisal system and training system seem to be cumbersome.
  • My guess (and hope) is that it will reduce our labor costs. It is still new so at this point it has not accomplished that.
  • Reduced IT workload (but picked up by HR!)
It seemed a lot like Ultipro, but at a much more affordable price.

It had to be cost. Being a small non-profit some of the larger/older systems were simply out of our price range. Kronos WFR was right in our range.
I think a smaller non-profit is the perfect size organization, probably between 100 - 1000 employees. Smaller than 100 and it might be too robust, and likewise if the organization gets above 1000 it could probably afford a more detailed (and subsequently more expensive) software program.
