Overall Satisfaction with Lattice
We use Lattice as our performance management tool. It helps us with year-round, ongoing feedback as well as with end of period reviews (twice per year). We have a very matrixed organization (rather than typical hierarchy) and Lattice's interface allows us to have dynamic feedback and reviews across multiple people, levels, and teams without a heavy administrative lift (individuals request their own feedback and nominate their reviewers, with easy approval from senior leaders).
Pros
- Easy to use interface
- excellent reminders to both email and Teams
- employee-led, and low burden on administrative/HR team
- great customer support
Cons
- it is not intuitive how to find a past review you wrote for someone that doesn't directly report to you
- Lattice app (for phone) is very limited in scope and doesn't have face ID
- sales team can be misleading; need to really double check and push on important issues
- performance no longer sits in an end of year box; it's ongoing because of the feedback function, and this has elevated our team's performance
- employee-led platform has significantly reduced the administrative burden that we had from other platforms
This was our previous system, and while it was highly customizable, the administration fell heavily on our central support team. There were also some easy of use issues (not the most UX friendly). Lattice solved both of those issues, plus added ongoing feedback mechanism that Trakstar did not have
