Overall Satisfaction with Lead Forensics

Lead generation for our sales team and account managers. Finding potential (and current) customers visiting our websites and proactively reaching out to existing contacts within those companies or using LinkedIn to locate more viable points of contacts or alternatives. The business problem we face is complacency in managing current customers and missing opportunities to find and work with new potential customers and companies.

Pros

  • Providing detailed information about companies visiting our websites
  • Including LinkedIn connections relating to said business
  • Customer support and attention

Cons

  • Integration/functionality with Salesforce contact management
  • Reporting customization and building is convoluted - too many options
  • Dashboard has too many options/dropdowns
  • We have not been able to equate any tangible ROI yet (partially due to internal adoption and use)
  • In my opinion, this tool has already been very helpful in lead generation. Now its just a matter of my sales team leveraging it for themselves.
I think that general dashboard is simple, easy to use, and provides a good snapshot overview of current information. I think that navigating to company details and getting information about the company and people connected through the company via LinkedIn is straightforward and easy to use. I think setting up target customer profiles based on demographics such as industry, location, and all that is very good. The only knocks would be in regards to setting up useful trigger reports, then determining good leads and how to assign/categorize them is not as straightforward. Further how that information is relayed to Salesforce has not shown to be very efficient (yet). I would also prefer that the integration with Salesforce be more functional both ways. Unless I am missing something and our SF admin doesn't know how to do it, but it would be nice if company information from Lead Forensics, could automatically update company information, contact details, and the like, in our Salesforce entry details.
Lead Forensics is definitely more economical for a team and provides a lot more information on companies while also still providing the insights on contacts working for the company.

I think for lead generation specifically this tool is very useful in allowing teams to unlock potential leads that might have otherwise been missed by the user not completing a contact form. This also provides warm insights on current or potential customers visiting our websites, possibly opening a door that allows our team to proactively reach out to them to touch base.
