Overall Satisfaction with LeanData

Currently, I monitor our current graphs for any errors, update pools, pull reports via SFDC / LeanData pre-packaged reports and dashboards, investigate general issues. The primary purpose for the product is to help with automated routing purposes across our sales teams. It also helps with the merging of duplicates as they come in.

Pros

  • Routing leads to their respective owners based on logic we've established.
  • Thorough audit logs that help us investigate data issues.
  • Overall ease-of-use navigating the UI.

Cons

  • I'd recommend an easier way to describe graphs. Sometimes, we build very complex graphs to where we need an easy way to describe how it's operating to stakeholders vs reviewing spiderwebs of logic.
  • AI tools that help summarize what particular graphs are doing and/or suggestions for enhancements.
  • Configurable email or Teams notifications of errors.
  • Operational efficiency
  • Complex graphs - we now only have 2 people in our organization that can manage/manipulate LeanData, setting us up for chaos if 1 or both are not available.
  • I would imagine cost being an issue as time goes on and then having to prove ROI again down the road. There is no backup in the event we can no longer justify this tool cost.
It took a while for me to understand how to use LeanData and if it took me this long, I would imagine it taking longer for novice users. I think there needs to be more examples/use cases users can access/review within the graphs themselves. The routing preview feature has been a big help but we're still having to rely a lot on sandbox testing before pushing to production.
N/A I was not here to evaluate other products nor have I used similar tools.

Yes

I noted this as 9 only because there is a learning curve and would recommend colleagues to go through the LeanData courses to understand concepts. The tool is well suited for routing not only for sales teams, but customer success teams as well. It does have its quirks and users need to be aware of what to look out for when LeanData misses appropriate routing and/or mismatches.
