Overall Satisfaction with LinkedIn Jobs

Convergent has used LinkedIn Jobs to source candidates for the Project Director position. Project Directors serve clients on-site conducting fundraising campaign feasibility studies and manage campaigns. Convergent seeks mature individuals who have fundraising, sales, or marketing experience. Individuals have a willingness to travel and enjoy autonomy after receiving training.
  • Excellent exposure to job seekers.
  • The site is easy to navigate.
  • The contacted versus having just read a submission is a little confusing.
  • It'd be nice to have a ranking feature that one could score candidates.
  • There were enough candidates to provide sufficient top-tier candidates.
  • There was a good means for candidates to post information about themselves and their resumes so our choice was competent and could deliver results for us.
LinkedIn Jobs provided a more finely tuned experience that attracted candidates more suitable for us.
We didn't have need for support. The site did a very good job of walking us through posting and processing.

It's well suited for companies seeking contractor services such as we do. There's enough variety of experiences possessed by users that there is a sufficient number of candidates. It's probably not as suitable for service sector jobs like restaurants.
