Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Litmos as a repository of all our internal workshops and training tools. Any time we host an L&D event, we upload the video into Litmos and attach any supplementary material (such as PDFs of decks or guides). Links to key internal trainings are added to onboarding calendars so all new hires know what specialized workshop they need to view in their first few weeks on the job.

Usability

Could have a cleaner dashboard and more intuitive search features (priority is given to its own catalog of courses over the internal ones that the company wants employees to view). It does have a great catalog of courses, including trainings that help our company be compliant with the law, such as workplace harassment courses.

I did not participate in the implementation of Litmos; it was already up and running when I started my L&D role.

Likelihood to Recommend

I lead my company's L&D team, and we create hundreds of proprietary trainings every year. Litmos is an easy hub to collect and assign these as the need arises. The platform is especially crucial to our onboarding needs. However, it'd be great if the site could connect to our company's Google suite for ease of assigning, as we depend on Google calendars to tout training events. Also, our decks and documents are created on Google and they change frequently, meaning that we have to create new PDFs to attach to a module when this happens.
