My experience with LogMeIn Rescue

Overall Satisfaction with LogMeIn Rescue

At [...] we use LogMeIn Rescue to provide remote IT support to other employees. We sometimes need to escalate to admin and/or transfer sessions to other IT support agents and this tool is very useful for all of our needs. We support many different issues, from email to driver related troubleshooting.

Pros

  • Elevate to a service
  • Remote control
  • Switch between monitors

Cons

  • Ability to elevate to service without disconnecting session
  • I don't work with numbers but LogMeIn Rescue makes our work easier
LogMeIn Rescue is fairly easy to use even for people with only the very basic computer knowledge. Some users experience difficulty downloading and opening the app but I don't consider this being an issue with LogMeIn Rescue.

I thing LogMeIn Rescue is suitable for most scenarios when control is required, but sometimes if only viewing is required it might be easier to share screen via Teams or similar due to some users having difficulty following the steps
