Good software, very stable connections, a little slow to start
Overall Satisfaction with LogMeIn Rescue
The software allows us to connect to our remote show sites to provide support for other programs and connected hardware such as printers.
It means that if our till system has an issue on their laptop which they cannot rectify themselves, we can log on and fix it so they can resume making sales.

Pros
- Stable connection
- Automatically add machines to the address book when client is installed
- Viewing of machine stats remotely
Cons
- Needs the ability to save passwords per client, especially those that require a domain login which can be especially long to type
- Needs to be able to connect faster in the first instance - The software sometimes takes 30 seconds to even start the session
- Needs the ability to have more than 1 technician connect to a client without having to be invited as it takes much longer that way
- Needs the ability to copy and paste multiple files at once without having to go through the file transfer tab for simplicity
- Has allowed us to continue selling when tills go down through remote support
Despite my objections on not being able to save usernames and passwords, this does make it a lot more secure for clients having to type them in every time, and you can't see any ID on the client side of things so no one else would be able to connect just by having the client installed.
- AnyDesk and TeamViewer
It wasn't fully my decision to change from AnyDesk to LogMeIn Rescue - If it was up to me, I would have stuck to AnyDesk due to the cost (LogMeIn Rescue is much more expensive) and the ability to save login information and have multiple technicians connect at the same time without invites. That being said, we did have connection issues sometimes with AnyDesk which we don't have with LogMeIn Rescue.
