Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

I have been using Lucidchart for over five years now and have always found it to be the most intuitive cloud app that requires little/no learning curve to get started; the well-designed templates are the key differentiator for Lucidchart.
Lucidchart is being used by two team members at Livn: the project manager and the business analyst (myself). Lucidchart is used to document business processes that span multiple teams/products.
  • Intuitive templates
  • Swimlane diagrams
  • Mind maps
  • Layers--better example to help users master layers
  • Printing--guides on printing so that the illustration is clearly visible
  • Remote collaboration best practices
  • Improved collaboration across teams
  • Time savings for technical team members who no longer have to write longer descriptions
  • Better brand experience for partners as they receive collateral with professionally produced illustrations
Integration with Atlassian was one of the key reasons Lucidchart was chosen as the diagramming tool of choice. Gliffy and Lucidchart were being compared, but given that Lucidchart had a wider range of templates/integrations with leading applications, it was easier to choose Lucidchart.
I have never had to use support--in all my years of using the product there have been no issues!

Do you think Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite's feature set?

Yes

Did Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite again?

Yes

To me, Lucidchart is the clear winner due to the superior design, ease of use, and collection of templates that enable users to deliver impressive results in less time.
Lucidchart is really good for startups that are scaling up and need team members to have access to diagram tools but may not want the entire business to have access to the resource.

Lucidchart may not be so well suited to larger, more process-driven government agencies that are more likely to adopt MS Visio or other branded systems.
