In my company, we use LumApps as our intranet. It allows employees to find key information, newsletters, and articles posted in relation to the company and its employees.

Pros and Cons

Pros

It offers user-friendly navigation.
User management is simple once setup correctly.
It offers many different options for creating posts and articles.

Cons

Search functionality is lacking for groups.
If you Copy and Paste from other sources, it often leads to undesired results.

Return on Investment

As IT, I save time daily by redirecting employees to detailed articles already written and posted on our LumApps intranet.

ServiceNow IT Asset Management, Asana, Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Microsoft Intune + SCCM)

Well suited: For communicating and archiving important articles and events regarding your company and employees. Directing employees to your intranet to allow them to find the answer they are looking for will encourage the use of the intranet. Less well suited: Not as well suited for communicating emergency or time-sensitive events regarding your company or employees. Employees may miss or not check the intranet as often as perceived without direction and could miss these events.

While there is a lot of different option when using LumApps the old familiars are there, which allows all users to be able to get what they need out of LumApps.

Ease of Integration

All integrations we use work as intended and work well. For example, our HR tool is integrated in order to give a list of contacts for all employees to look up helpful info. This works fast and simply.
