Overall Satisfaction with Luminate

We use Luminate in a TeamRaiser environment. We also use the shopping cart feature. It is used in our organization and in some of our ministries. We would like to explore more of the email system and the other features. Luminate is in the process of rolling out new features.

  • 5K TeamRaisers are able to be designed and implemented


  • Not as intuitive ore easy to use as other Blackbaud products
  • Not updated as often still being labeled as Convivo in some areas
  • Not as much knowledge base support
  • Seems like coding skills are necessary

Using Luminate

We are still evaluating if we will continue using Luminate. It is a hard program to use and my team members have a difficult time with this product. It is surprising that we have so much trouble with Luminate since we also use other Blackbaud products and have very good experiences with them.
