Use Cases and Deployment Scope

There are mainly two departments that use Magnolia in our organization - the IT department and the digital marketing department. From the IT department, this software makes it easy for us to create web pages as well as customize new and existing pages. The editors also come in handy and I like the ease of uploading and managing content. With Magnolia, our web pages, comments, or social platforms offer all the features that we need. We have been able to save resources by handling all our CMS needs in-house compared to outsourcing.

Pros and Cons

The software offers many features making it multipurpose
Understanding and using Magnolia is easy
It is relatively affordable

Besides the issues of uploading multiple files that seems problematic, I have not experienced other problems

With Magnolia, we can handle some basic SEO needs such as customizing and optimizing pages which save us money
Magnolia is great when it comes to uploading content and perfect when it comes to coding
The editor is amazing as well
All the features of Magnolia make the software a worthy investment considering the capability of the software.

Usability

Magnolia is effective in many ways including handling some basic SEO needs, as well as designing and customizing pages. In addition, the ability to handle and manage our web content makes it a must-have. I like that using it is easy and not all features require coding background. It is an all-round software.

Performance

I give it a 9 star. The only time that the software has a long loading time is when uploading large files such as images and videos.
I also rate its performance highly because it houses many features and everything works as it should.

Favorite Features of Magnolia

My favourite features includes but not limited to SEO support, Form Generator, Page Templates, WYSIWYG editor

Alternatives Considered

ASP.NET

I have used ASP.NET in my previous workplace and it's not as capable and well equipped as Magnolia. [In my experience] It is not even near 70% of the capabilities of Magnolia. Magnolia is easy to use and has more features and a great User Interface.
