Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Mailchimp allows us as educational facilitators to keep in touch with our customers and those with an interest in what we do, through both independent and collective communications. The software is not the easiest to set-up fully, but once it is established, it is very easy to manage and is really comprehensive with functions.

Pros and Cons

Excellent customer management.
Versatile and dynamic to respond to differing needs of departments.
Looks great too!

Takes some time to set-up properly.
Not the easiest to navigate without any prior experience or training.

Return on Investment

It has made communicating with customers much easier.
Once set-up, the ease of use is a big factor.

Alternatives Considered

Mailchimp was the most commonly used mail management software when I started to look, and was the first one I tried out. I used to use Outlook and manage my contacts independently, but this became quite difficult to do well, and the software has taken a lot of the actual management difficulties away from this.

Mailchimp is perfect for any organization that needs to keep in touch with their customers or interested parties. Having a single simple system to manage mail and communications like this is a particularly useful tool for everyone. The management tools included are perfect. It is also great for larger organizations, as you can have a number of different mailing lists for specific categories of contacts.

Mailchimp is the best known for a reason!
