Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We subscribed to EndPoint Central to help protect our endpoints, and help fulfil a security audit recommendation. the product gives us everything we need in this respect, from vulnerability management, to script deployment, software/hardware inventry, and patch deployment.

Usability

Overall the product is very easy to use. It has an array of features and functions, but the navigation can be a little difficult, mostly with the patching section.

Alternatives Considered

Tanium, Tenable Nessus and NinjaOne

ManageEngine has all of the features of the other products, but it came in significantly below the cost of these, and as such won out. It is easy to use, deployment works well, and the web site is very responsive.

Likelihood to Recommend

Well suited for keeping our 100s of PCs up to date with patches, deploying software to these devices with minimal fuss, and ensuring we patch vulnerabilities as quickly as possible.
Wouldn't be suitable for us if we didn't have any Windows devices, although it can work with Mac, we'd likely have gone with another product.
