Overall Satisfaction with ManageEngine Endpoint Central

We use ManageEngine Endpoint Central to manage our laptop, desktop, and server environment. We use it to push patches, software, image new systems, mitigate vulnerabilities, and manage inventory. Our environment is around a total of 800 systems and about 400 users. We attempted to use the MDM features but struggled with deployment and management.

  • software deployment and removal is much quicker and more dependable
with the amount of automation and prebuilt scripts and tools, this tool is really easy to train new users on and create functional staff.
ManageEngine Endpoint Central was the clear winner for us, as intune was not as user friendly and ivanti was extremely expensive and significantly less user friendly. The cost of ManageEngine Endpoint Central was the main selling point, along with the ease of use. It was almost built for our environment, which made adoption much easier.

ManageEngine Endpoint Central is an extremely great tool with the best cost to value add. The product fits a lot of needs for automation and inventory management across the board. Patching and vulnerabilities are handled quite well. Where things could be improved are region specific support. When we have an issue that needs to be escalated, the support seems to be based in India so response times are often leaving a lot to be desired since we are based in america. When we don't get a response for 6-12 hours on an issue that we need help with right away, it leaves a bad taste in our mouths.

ManageEngine Endpoint Central Support

The immediate chat support is great and very helpful. However, if you need escalated support or have a deeper need that the chat tool can't help with, you will experience significant wait times and slow responses. The time zone difference becomes painful to the point of often just giving up.

the support in the chat tool has been clutch a number of times. The support staff in that tool are extremely great and have been helpful countless times. Any time we need help to get a specific query, or navigate a specific problem, they have been extremely helpful.
