Overall Satisfaction with ManageEngine Endpoint Central
ManageEngine Endpoint Central help support around 500 enpoints. It make patching and securing our systems a breeze. No more guessing if systems are upto date or if software is out of date. Taking remote control of systems helps in end user TS. Deploying scripts, tasks, software etc is also simplified. Most importantly, ManageEngine Endpoint Central support is great when you get stuck and need additional help.
Pros
- Endpoint Patching
- Remote Assistance
- Task Scheduling
- Asset management when linked with ServiceDesk
Cons
- Certain third party software update needs manual uploads
- Certain OS updates need manual uploads
- Link with Service desk could be better to avoid duplication.
- The pricing of the product has been increasing. This might be something which might help new players in this segment
- Some modules need additional licensing. This can push the cost up.
In terms of feather and usability ManageEngine Endpoint Central far surpasses both. Although spiceworks is free, you are limited to support and new feature updates. Intune does well what it is built for, but does not provide all the features that are needed for day to day support. Lack of third party software in comparison to Endpoint central is another drawback.
