Overall Satisfaction with Mendix
We use the Mendix platform to build solutions for our customers who have a problem which they want to have addressed. The problems can be very varied and range from supporting employees with the needed information at the right time to guiding employees through a workflow so he or she can perform her work efficiently and effectively.
- Interfacing with other systems to support decision making by employees.
- Fast development of applications in close cooperation with the 'business'.
- Active community of Mendix developers/users.
- More flexibility in reporting.
- When several developers work on the same project the ease of handling conflicts could be improved.
- Regression testing of applications, luckily ATS is now available.
- Providing information to call center to handle calls adequately.
- Service management system implementations for service companies, Telco, IT, etc.
- Order picking and service application including warehousing.
- Financial checkout application for private lease contracts.
- IoT integrations
With Mendix we are capable of interacting with end users and product specialist and quickly specify the needed functionalities and deliver them fast. This in a way that is understandable for non-it people.
I think the interfacing of the Mendix tool is easier and more intuitive. But this could be a consequence of the fact that I have far more experience with Mendix than with Pega and as a consequence find it easier to use.
