Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft 365 Business

Our entire organization uses it for word processing, spreadsheets, note-taking, presentations, and flowchart creation. It is used by all employees daily in every facet of work from accounting to building maintenance. We have been using 365 since it was initially rolled out and we have never seriously considered switching to another platform.
  • Excel is second to none in spreadsheets. Using literally anything else will get you laughed out of the room in the business world.
  • PowerPoint helps us keep our presentations organized and comprehensive.
  • Word is also the industry standard.
  • The subscription-based model requires us to get the cost approved every year for budget reasons.
  • ROI boost due to high productivity. Employees can focus on their actual work and not on troubleshooting their software.
  • 365 support is best in class. Any issues that do come up can be resolved quickly and 24/7.
  • The cost of 365 annually is easily offset by productivity gains.
365 is the industry standard. While we evaluated the free offerings from Google and also the Lotus paid alternative, we were simply unimpressed with that they offered in features especially in terms of cross-suite synchronization. With 365 all of the different products speak to each other smoothly and with no hiccups.

We are very happy with the ease of use and performance of 365 products. Exporting reports, sending data between programs, emailing huge groups of employees, it's all pretty user-friendly and painless. It integrates with our call-flow design software seamlessly, we can easily print large flowcharts or tables and they are instantly shared with all users.
There's almost no learning curve for most 365 programs since our employees have been using them in most cases since grade school. While we do encounter some difficulty with the finer points of Excel this is usually due to user error and lack of tech knowledge.
It is perfect for large organizations or even medium ones who have the budgetary flexibility to afford it while expanding and serving their employees. I can see the cost being somewhat of a burden for smaller companies, but trying to get by with a free alternative would be pretty unwise. Microsoft 365 is simply impossible to beat for what it offers.
