A must have for some basic tasks across the business
Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365)
[Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) is] currently being used in a number of places, we use it to write performance plans, PDR’s and appraisals to name a few things we use the processor for but also for data analysis through excel, presentation of data, building hubs and and also writing vb code in the developer tab of excel. It allows us to easily create documents and spreadsheets and easily share them with other users knowing that there’s no issue around format or viewing them across the business.
Pros
- Word processing
- Easy to use
- A format that people recognise.
- Spreadsheets and data handling
- Integrates with all windows pc aspects well.
Cons
- Consistent changing of where things are or hiding existing functions in new places is an issue
- Seems to be forcing users down a cloud route which isn’t always appropriate.
- Developer tab in excel
- Should always be visible. It’s a pain to enable it each time.
- Usability
- Easily accepted format across our business and others.
- Wide variety of functions in excel when combined with vb.net knowledge
- Able to quickly share stats and dashboards across the business.
- Just one package needed across the business saves on cost.
- It’s a widely used tool so no need for training.
