Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Office 365
Microsoft Office 365 was used as my company's e-mail provider. It was used across the entire organization, and the business problem that it addressed was e-mail usage and shared documents. We sourced it through GoDaddy. Every business needs an e-mail provider these days, and the options are more or less between Google and Microsoft.
Pros
- Organization of e-mails
- Alerts when you send an e-mail and it's not received
- Folder management
Cons
- It does not integrate with the calendar well
- The shortcuts to archive and generally lose/hide e-mails are too easy to click by accident
- It is not as fast and does not work as well on mobile as Gmail
- It helped us integrate our email services with clients.
- Clients who use Microsoft Office 365 find our interface easy to use.
- It doesn't cause problems for clients with Gmail.
We picked Microsoft Office 365 because it was what our clients were used to, and it was easy to set up from GoDaddy whom we use for our web hosting, site design, and other services. It was also slightly cheaper than Google's app suite for the company, which was an additional perk.
