Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Entra ID
We use Entra ID to authenticate people who try to log in to our internal resources. We use Microsoft Azure, DevOps and we also have a lot of systems developed on the Azure platform as a service. So we use Entra ID to authenticate users wanting access to the system.
Pros
- I think it does SSO really well. I really like it that remembers my password so I don't have to remember it.
- And also it's easy to use.
Cons
- I use multiple applications that uses Microsoft Entra ID, so switching between different applications using the same or different ID becomes sometimes difficult, but that's my only complaint about it.
- I think it has made authentication easier. It has saved a lot of effort on my development resources to manage this on their own, to user management on our own. So definitely a lot of hours have been saved. Development hours have been saved by using this product.
In the cloud but I am not the deployment person, so I can't really provide answer to that question.
No, we don't.
We have our own custom Azure apps that we have developed and we use Entra ID for that. It's not on-premises.
Because we use a lot of other Microsoft products, so my inclination is more towards Entra ID because it's a Microsoft system. And we'll find support for Microsoft more than any other software. So that's why I lean more towards Microsoft.
