Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Excel

Microsoft Excel is being used across the organization for various purposes.
I particularly use Microsoft Excel for analysis and visualization.
It helps me find important insights and share it across with clients.
It is also used for data manipulation or aggregation of data. Other departments use it for data storage and sharing.
  • Data manipulation.
  • Data visualization.
  • Excel functions are super handy.
  • More data storage capability should be added
  • It slows down for large files
  • More graph options can be added
  • Excel has proven to give good ROI as the company did not have to pay for other softwares for small analysis
  • Excel has been used to show our capabilities to attract new customers(clients)
  • Excel can be used to introduce freshers to Data visualization
Excel is not as expensive as other softwares and is easy to use. It has a lot of functions and customization as compared to other softwares.
It can also be used as a data source.
It does not require to be setup by a separate infrastructure team and can be installed by anyone.
It's integration with other Microsoft products is commendable

Microsoft Excel is well suited when you have a small data set and you want to do quick analysis and present it to client in form of a dashboard.
It is not well suited when you have a large data set because Excel cannot handle it and slows down. Overall it is good for short analysis.
