Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Excel

As a manufacturing company, we deal with large volumes of part numbers that require filtering, manipulation, and comparison with other documents or values. Microsoft Excel allows me to manage these large volumes easily. What I find useful most the the automated suggestions Microsoft Excel provides to complete actions you have done to one value for the rest of your set.

Pros

  • Data Filtering
  • Formulas
  • Presentation of Data

Cons

  • AI automated suggestions
  • Instructions built into Microsoft Excel on complex formulas
  • Sharing regulatory attribute data between the manufacturer and Authorized Representative for our products
  • Collaborative data input for items prior to inputting them into software systems
Microsoft Excel is fairly user friendly and always performs how expected to. What I would find more useful is if there was more learning opportunities or automated suggestions within the software itself. I often find myself going to third parties when I am seeking how to perform a new function or fix an error with a formula.
The integration Microsoft Excel has within the other Microsoft applications makes it top choice for me. I have worked in Google Sheets, however I prefer working in desktop version of software with full capabilities. Microsoft Excel provides this.
