Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Office 365
We use Office 365 for the whole organization (all 3 of us), specifically Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Working in the business services industry, these applications are critical and we use them every day.
Pros
- Helps you collaborate between co-workers. Makes it easy to work from home or remote.
- Easily share content with clients / track revisions.
- Projects a professional business.
Cons
- I'd like a better video conferencing option built in, such as Zoom. Skype for Business does not work with clients that have low bandwidth.
- I wish the app would include a calendar. Scheduling meetings on my phone can be difficult.
- We couldn't run our business without it.
Google offers a free version of most Office 365 applications, but I don't believe they offer the same breadth of features. I'm also not sure if Google Docs and Sheets are compatible with Word and Excel. Office 365 is the safest choice today.
