Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Power BI
We teach analytics in our MIS program, and the students start with SAP tools, then they move to Tableau to visualize the data, and then I introduce them to PowerBI and they wonder why we did not just start with it as it is so easy to use and powerful.
- It allows you to easily load and integrate data from multiple sources
- It uses the same UI as other MicroSoft tools so the learning curve is lower
- Integration with Office 365 is smooth
- It can do so much, it is hard to be aware of all it does
- It seems it is primarily to be used with spreadsheets, could use better database integration
- We need curriculum for college students to use it like we have for other Microsoft tools
Much easier learning curve and integration with Microsoft Office gives it a leg up. People not knowing they have it, believe it or not, is limiting it's usage. Microsoft really needs to market it!
