Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Teams

We use [Microsoft] Teams company-wide and we have used several solutions in the past such as Zoom, WebEx, Skype etc. It is being enterprise-wide across all business units, regions and countries. The business problems are collaboration, communication and file sharing. Instead of using Zoom and WebEx, we have consolidated all communication (internal and External) on [Microsoft] Teams.
  • User Interface is nicely done and that makes it easier to adopt and use.
  • Chats, Calls and Files all in one tool. We do not need to switch between Slack, Zoom and Sharepoint.
  • Integration with other Microsoft and non-Microsoft apps and ecosystem is amazing.
  • The concept of 'Team' and 'Channel' is not obvious. You can end up with tons of Teams.
  • Viewing/updating Powerpoint slides in Teams may not be optimal depending on layout.
  • There is no ability to log into multiple Teams at the same time.
  • Calling other co-workers as needed.
  • Inviting others (internal and external) attendees to a meeting.
  • Setup Teams/Channels (public or private) to create a workspace and share data.
  • No negative impact on our business objectives.
We have used Slack, Skype for Business, Zoom, WebEx and many other tools in the past. Each tool had a quirk and either did not scale well or was good at just one thing. Teams combines collaboration, chat, communication in one powerful tool. That has enabled us to reduce the number of tools being deployed and used.

Do you think Microsoft Teams delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Microsoft Teams's feature set?

Yes

Did Microsoft Teams live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Microsoft Teams go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Microsoft Teams again?

Yes

[Microsoft Teams] is well suited for Microsoft eco-system. The value could be much lower if you are a small company using Slack/G-Suite/Zoom today. On the other side, if you are an Office/Exchange user then its a no-brainer to go with Teams. Microsoft has done amazing work with Teams and those days of 'Skype for Business' complaints are gone. The adoption is solid and the average user loves the product.
