Overall Satisfaction with MileIQ

We use MileIQ to track business trip mileage for our team of field analysts and technicians for expense reimbursement . In the past, the techs needed to track their own trips manually, using a calendar to list daily appointments and google maps to estimate distance to then be itemized on the expense forms.

Pros

  • Accurately tracks trips
  • Simplifies categorizing each trip
  • Easy to run monthly reports for totals

Cons

  • Integrate the paid version's admin console into the phone app for easier management.
  • Reduced the amount of time it takes for employees to process their monthly mileage expenses between 85-95%
  • Far more accurate trip tracking through GPS vs. calculating estimated mileage post-trip using Google maps.
  • Cuts down significantly on the time it takes for expense approvers to review their team's monthly mileage reimbursement.
MileIQ is extremely easy to use. The phone app has a great flow. Drive classification can be as easy as swiping left and right. Users can access their reports in 2-3 steps. The admin console is easy to navigate and makes it simple to invite new users and remove old ones.

MileIQ is a great tool for users that need to track their own business mileage to claim on expense reports. The phone app is easy to set up and use when classifying drives. it will occasionally ask you if you want to auto-classify frequent drives to further minimize the manual tasks of tracking mileage.

Yes - Well-optimized. It's very responsive and never crashed. The menus are easy to access and information is easy to read.
