Overall Satisfaction with Mimecast Advanced Email Security

Mimecast advanced email security is used to prevent email attacks on the organization. It is a firewall specifically designed for email-based communications. Without being active on Mimecast, its AI does all the security things on its own. You just need to link your mailbox to Mimecast, and that's it.

Pros

  • Blocking spam mails.
  • Blocking phishing mails.
  • Blocking malwares in the attachments.

Cons

  • Some false positive findings.
  • Tools should directly integrate with mail, and for checking, there should be no need to open mimecast directly on email's inbox. The security should apply.
  • Close to zero phishing emails.
  • Increase email security.
  • Reduced spam emails.
Mimecast protects against many email threats, including phishing, malware, spam, and targeted attacks. This makes it very effective in safeguarding against common and advanced email-based threats. Also, the web-based dashboard is intuitive for administrators, and users can configure policies and view analytics relatively easily. The interface is clean, and most common tasks are easy to navigate.
