Overall Satisfaction with Mimecast Advanced Email Security

We use Mimecast as a fully fledged security filter for inbound/outbound email and as a gateway for an organization around 350-400 users.

Pros

  • Great Daily Digest
  • Ease of Use
  • Flexible Customization

Cons

  • More false positives than we’d like
  • Some policies can be confusing
  • Admin Notifications tend to get noisy
  • Increased Security
  • Reduced successful phishing emails
  • Better time management
The console is fairly intuitive after spending a couple of days in it. I’m never really struggling to find where I need to go.
Very easy to integrate.
Mimecast stacks up really well against these products. The price of Mimecast made it hard to say no to.

Mimecast is the best filter/gateway I’ve personally used so far. It’s been generally easy to administer and gives me a lot of confidence that our email environment is safer than it previously was.
