Overall Satisfaction with MIP Fund Accounting
We use MIP for accounting.
- Import
- Budget
- Accounts Receivable
- Adjusting entries - copying and reversing takes a lot of extra steps, would be nice to edit the original within a timeframe instead of copying and reversing.
- Double checks - would be nice to have to enter ach info twice to double-check info being entered, this would make us more comfortable to not always have to do a prenote. would also be nice to auto pre nose new ACH info entered rather than having to wait for the first payment.
- Printing - would be nice to be able to print unposted directly from the entry page instead of having to pull a separate report
- reporting, sometimes you can't pull info in a report if you have too many filters, even if you know what you entered has entries, it will give you an error message if it doesn't want to filter certain reports by fund gl and activity code
- customer service- a lot of times when we call the person on the phone can't help us and we end up having to figure it out ourselves
- importing has saved us tons of time
Ariaze was easier on making changes and more user friendly. Abila is more complex and is a higher learning curve when training new staff.
