Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro was introduced by me at the company and was mainly used as a visual planning and organizational tool by me and my closest coworker in the project that we were doing. By using Miro we could easily create a time schedule where we could add and remove notes on what we were to do. We also used it as a visual aid by simply illustrating processes that could otherwise be complicated, interconnected, and hard to comprehend.
  • Organizational.
  • Interactive.
  • Easy to use.
  • Possibility to use more colours on all notes, text, and shapes.
  • Possibility to change fonts.
  • Improved productivity.
  • Reduced project completion time.
  • More fun and interactive work environment.
It requires a basic introduction for the coworkers so that it in fact becomes an interactive and collaborative tool.
It’s easy to learn but still requires some basic learning. For example, the ”lock feature” is important to learn for the entire team so that the Miro space stays organized.
During my internship, we worked partly from home due to the pandemic. By using Miro we could still have fun working experiences that replaced the physical brainstorming activities which we otherwise had.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I don’t know of any other tools like Miro.
Miro is well suited for many scenarios. It is an interactive tool where a whole group of people can contribute at the same time. This is perfect for e.g. brainstorming or different workshop scenarios. It’s easier to use than a whiteboard due to the collaborative features, ability to use many colours to categorize easily, and the infinite space where a whiteboard is instead very limited. Miro is also suitable for visual planning and provides a way to illustrate work processes visually. For example, I have used Miro to create a deadline schedule in a project, but also to illustrate the workings of a healthcare system in regards to market access and what agencies and money flow are involved.
