Overall Satisfaction with Miro

It's being used on the design level through all phases, conceptualization, schematic, design development, and referred to during construction documentation and construction administration; addresses collaboration across multiple studios, practices, and teams through visual organization.

Pros

  • Multi-user engagement.
  • Easy to use.
  • It's live.

Cons

  • Linking images from desktop to images on Miro board so you don't have to keep updating images when they change (frequently done in design when we update renderings and stuff).
  • Provide templates for presentations. our Miro boards get unorganized quickly so having templates to stay organized would be nice.
  • Miro boards move really slow when they get too big.
  • Quicker & more efficient responses/engagement in client meetings.
  • Improved team collaboration during Covid when in-person team meetings were the general way of doing things--so less time was wasted.
I don't know how to set it up for projects (our IT guy does that) but it seems quick. Boards are set up by him along with team members and it's ready to rock.
Very well. It gives all users a chance to engage no matter where they're at in the world. And you can see everyone live while working on it.

Easy to use, allows for multi-user engagement and you can see people actively using it while on the board. Great visual aid during the work from home era.
