Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We are an international company, and Miro is being used across several regions across the globe. We use it for project and departmental collaboration, ideation, and as an educational tool. Our main driver for using Miro was to facilitate virtual workshops to support our remote and hybrid working environment.
Pros
- Virtual workshops.
- Brainstorming.
- Gathering feedback.
Cons
- Guest editing on private boards.
- Advanced billing capabilities for enterprises.
- Better SCIM provisioning.
- Better admin control for enterprise environments.
- Encouraged collaboration and team working.
- Inspired creativity and innovation.
- Improved remote working capabilities.
As our organisation is mostly working remotely it has been instrumental in some of our projects' ability to collaborate.

- MURAL (formerly Mural.ly) and Microsoft Teams
Miro has better cross-platform support, more features, better UI, and training materials. Their update cycle is more aggressive, and new features come out faster than competitors. However, it's more pricey. We have a Microsoft 365 subscription, and products like Microsoft Whiteboard are catching up in terms of features. Within 12 months, we will see Microsoft Whiteboard, which is included as part of our subscription, meet most of our requirements, which will make Miro less attractive.
