Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro to merge several opinions into one dashboard. It is great for workshops and to visualize complex processes like responsibility trees, process sequences, and mind mapping. It helps to be very creative and interactive and to include all colleagues in the discussion. It has great features for individually creating your board.

Pros

Cons

  • It could maybe remind people more of what they have done there. Often you have a great workshop and then forget about it.
  • Reduced project completion time.
  • Improved productivity of global project.
No issues at all. The only thing, I don't like is: that I would prefer a backup of my dashboard which I have been working on. Once we had a great result and then somebody else wiped it (as he did not need it anymore) and it was lost for me.
It was easy-to-register and new people can learn the basics within 5 minutes.
It was great for kick-offs and to visualize alignments, approvals, and discussions. We already had global sessions collaborating on one dashboard. It enabales communication. And it makes working from home feel more like a real present workshop as it has more possibilities than just Teams/PowerPoint.

Miro is great to use for internal teams to structure themselves, and set up working streams. It also helps to define specific processes of how to do an analysis or else - so this can be helpful to clarify reporting/analysis tasks with working students/interns. It is very helpful to merge different opinions from different units. Instead of working in silos, people can perfectly share their various knowledge.
