Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Performing a gap analysis and collaborating virtually with colleagues around the country in real time. Uploaded a powerpoint into Miro to make it more interactive and easy to capture notes whilst presenting. Over several workshops using Miro my team and I were able to build towards solutions after the initial gap analysis.
  • Provides templates which can quickly and easily be adapted
  • User friendly interface
  • Easy to upload documents
  • Enable guest functionality without it being completely public
  • Improved productivity by enabling easy virtual collaboration
  • Reduced costs as not needing to meet F2F
  • Easy to share the board in advance for prework and increased efficiency
Miro is easy to implement and use. It can be accessed by all and I have not experienced any connectivity issues related to Miro so it is very reliable. The user interface is also easy so guests can quickly understand how it is used and contribute to discussions and workshops quickly.
Integrates well however it would be great if for example all the notes and templates could be copied out of Miro e.g. copying and pasting a strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats (SWOT) analysis from the Miro board into a powerpoint so it can be presented using powerpoint and other formats.
Very positive impact - easy to use and easy for new users to pick up. I have only used the whiteboard function but the ability to virtual call is very handy. It allows for quick ideas generation and this raw data can then be processed in a variety of different templates.

  • MURAL (formerly Mural.ly)
Mural and Miro are very similar but I have greater experience with Miro so this is my personal preference.
Miro is suitable to virtual workshops and idea generation. It is an easy to use collaboration tool which allows people to creativity input into discussions whilst also being easy to process offline e.g. organising the board or copying the outputs into a different format offline. The templates make Miro easy to use for a variety of different projects.
