Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I organize co-working spaces with colleagues on Miro. I also use Miro as a mind mapping tool. A third application I use Miro for is to conduct workshops. For the use in workshops, Miro is especially well equipped. So the two main functions Miro nicely supports are the creative aspect and the possibility to collaborate.
  • Enable collaboration e.g. in workshops and meetings
  • Enable creativity
  • Provide templates
  • The "dashboard" could be a bit more intuitive to use (for my taste)
  • One problem I encountered is the missing option to enable other users to have editing rights for only one single Miro board and not others.
  • The only thing I am a little concerned about is data privacy, as with every "free" software. To be honest, though, I have not read the small print
  • A very positive impact is the impression that it is easy to conduct workshops in an online environment. This might facilitate the digitization of the workplace.
All done very nicely. Any "problems" that I encountered might well be due to my own ignorance or incompetence. So, overall, I can 100 % recommend the use of Miro. Although Miro has all the functionality to facilitate workshops and the recent updates included more functions in that direction, it could be even more clearly structured when using Miro for different purposes, e.g. when using it by myself or with colleagues or in a workshop. Maybe it would make sense to make the controls customizable?
Not sure what is meant here. Integration into what? Everything worked quite neatly. Even getting access for academic use what super easy. Inviting users for workshops is super easy. All good
I used Miro to conduct a workshop format that was designed to be a face-to-face workshop. All materials could easily be transferred to the Miro whiteboard and all aspects of the face-to-face workshop worked quite well online. I used Miro in combination with Zoom as a live video tool.

Miro is perfectly suited to conduct online workshops. It provides total flexibility in the design of the user interface for the workshop. It is also easy to provide access for participants via a sharing link. Pinning and locking certain elements makes it easy to provide a fixed framework for participants to work in.
