Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for brainstorming ideas, dropping in research, and using it to organize the research, as well as group activities that require real time collaboration. Miro addresses the business problem of not having a communal space to share resources/ information/ research and be able to organize that together (especially when working remotely)
  • Providing templates to save on time for commonly used purposes
  • Pre-made sticky notes make it more efficient to take quick notes
  • Co-collaboration in real time
  • The ability to auto-link artboards for flow mapping
  • The shape and text tool capability is a bit limiting
  • Sometimes it's hard to share with a large group of people because it asks for permission or tries to get a sign in from visitors using the board for a one-time event
  • I feel the UI with the tools is a bit simple and even though that's intuitive, it feels like miro isn't capable of a lot of complex purposes
  • improved productivity
  • simplified research process
  • brought the team together for co-collaboration
Sometimes it was a bit complicated to get everyone on board. We were able to use a miro board as a guest but there were times where it was asking for permissions or it was asking for guests at a one-time event, who were asked to sign in. It complicated the session we held and held us up for a time.
It has helped us organize ourselves, our work, and the feedback on each others' works. I believe it has helped improve our productivity as we're able to quickly jot down information. I highly recommend using the whiteboard tool for quick notes, organizing research, planning, etc.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

When it works: Co-collaboration within a small team where everyone can work together in a work session. When it doesn't work: A large group of people (30+) all interact on the board because of permissions and lag.
