Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Is our main tool for collaboration: from internal planning and meetings to running workshops, mapping journeys, blueprints, collect information as a team. Miro helps us share ideas and work together to follow up and build them together.

Pros

  • Allows companies to organize their work easily per team and projects.
  • Facilitator tools are well-thought to make it easy for teams to run workshops, presentations, or meetings.
  • Tools make it easy for everybody to join, participate and collaborate smoothly.
  • Miro offers a lot of templates that can be adapted to the most common (and not so common) cases within the business, design, and development teams.

Cons

  • The learning curve for teachers and facilitators is kind of hard to overcome, especially when not that familiar with remote work.
  • Is not that easy to find and take advantage of all the tools.
  • Sharing settings could be simpler and better explained. There are several cases where is not clear who has access and what type of permission when working with external teams.
  • Without Miro, remote collaboration would be almost impossible.
  • Has been key to sustaining remote engagements with our clients.
Some of the role's permissions aren't as clear as they could so people can understand what they can edit and whatnot beforehand in any important meeting.
So far it has been really good. I have experienced difficulties integrating with slack, it not always works, but other than that it has worked properly.
It has been crucial for us, a big impact on our successful engagements with clients and internal collaborators. From sharing ideas, and knowledge to preparing workshop materials, running activities, and following up on programs across teams.

Well suited for collaborating remotely with internal and external teams. Easily adaptable to any type of activity: sharing ideas, planning events, projects, workshops, mapping journeys, teaching classes, and basically anything you can do on a whiteboard and even more. Offers a LOT of basic components going from diagrams, templates, icons, symbols that you can use, wireframing, and other brainstorming tools that are really useful to just drag and drop.
